PRIME WINDOW OR SLIDING GLASS DOOR REPLACEMENT
$6 PER SQ. FT.
Qualifications:
Homes must be electrically heated, existing single family or manufactured homes, and located within Inland Power & Light's service territory.

Prime windows must have an NFRC rated U-factor* of 0.30 or lower. Sliding glass doors must have an NFRC rated U-factor of 0.35 or lower.
​
Existing windows must be either double pane with a metal frame or a single pane window in any frame.
​
Windows can be self-installed or installed by a licensed contractor.
​
Self - installed: before and after photos are required.
​
Contractor installed: must list pre-existing window condition and U-factor of new windows clearly stated on their invoice.
​
Window installations must meet applicable building codes to qualify.
Disqualifications:
Windows in unconditioned spaces, such as a garage or porch, do not qualify.
​
Windows in newly constructed homes do not qualify for this incentive.
​
Replacement installation that results in increased window area is not allowed under this program.
*The U-factor measures how well a product prevents heat from escaping. The lower the U-factor, the greater a window’s resistance to heat flow and the better its insulating value. The U-factor is included in the energy performance rating label offered by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC).
ENERGY STAR EXTERIOR DOOR REPLACEMENT - $40 PER DOOR
Qualifications:
Homes must be electrically heated, existing single family or manufactured homes, and located within Inland Power & Light's service territory.

Be Energy Star certified. Documentation of certification required.
​
Replace an un-insulated exterior door. Exterior doors must separate heated and unheated space.
​
Be pre-hung.
​
Existing threshold must also be replaced.
Before and after photos required.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
To apply, fill out the application form in its entirety and return to Inland Power with a dated copy of your invoice and appropriate documentation as mentioned above.

Requests for rebates must be received within 90 days of purchase. Inland Power and Light reserves the right to inspect and verify all window installations.

Please allow four to six weeks for processing. This program is subject to change without notice.

Inland Power cannot recommend any one company and recommends doing your due diligence; make sure to get more than one estimate, inform contractor of intent to claim Inland's rebate prior to installation, and ask about warranty details.
