SALARY RANGE: $82,821 - $103,526


HOURS: 4 - 10s - 7:00 A.M. TO 5:30 P.M.







The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and support of the organization’s information systems and to ensure the functional capabilities of these systems are optimized and fully utilized. This position also contributes to the development of solutions to complex problems and provides support and training to end users.

  1. Participate in the development, implementation, installation, testing and support of applications software.  May prepare technical and instructional manuals.  Works with organizational units to determine specific output requirements (e.g. breakouts, summaries, formats, etc.) and report formats.

  2. Studies existing data systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems, or modifies existing systems to improve production or workflow. 

  3. Design, implement and maintain complex databases.  Duties include, but are not limited to; developing documentation, establishing security, validating systems, debugging, and ensuring effective back-up/recovery procedures, are in place.

  4. Query databases to provide data and reports to other departments.

  5. Oversee project implementation including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work.  Ability to evaluate results with clear, observable metrics is necessary.

  6. Operates with considerable latitude for un-reviewed action and/or decision-making.  May recommend major changes in procedures or systems, where necessary.

  7. Work with users to define system requirements and troubleshoot and resolve problems.

  8. Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and peripherals.

  9. Document computer problems and resolutions for future reference.

  10. Ability to utilize scripting methods to automate processes.

  11. All other duties as assigned.


  1. Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in information systems or other computer-related degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Equivalent technical training and experience will be considered.  Additional training in application development, network administration, and computer system integration desirable. Must possess excellent verbal and written skills. 

    • Additional training in Database Management Systems (DBMS), web site development, network administration and computer system integration desirable.


  2. Knowledge and Skills:

    • Good problem-solving skills. 

    • Ability to quickly learn new systems. 

    • Organization skills including attention to detail and accuracy. 

    • Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices.

  3. Software and Toolsets:

    • MSSQL, Oracle, SQLite 

    • Python, PowerShell or other scripting language 

    • Microsoft Office 365 and Power Apps 

    • Web Technologies 

  4. Mental Demands/Working Conditions:

    • Requires frequent sitting and use of personal computer keyboard.  Some lifting, carrying, twisting, reaching, crawling, squatting, and bending when working on installation and repair of computers or related equipment.  Maximum weight to lift is approximately 50 pounds.  Requires good finger dexterity and ability to perform close work.

    • Ability to meet time deadlines and effectively multi-task.
