- Prime windows must have an NFRC rated U-factor* of 0.30 or lower. Patio doors must have an NFRC rated U-factor of 0.35 or lower.

- Contractor installed windows must have pre-existing window condition and U-factor of newly installed windows clearly stated on their invoice.
- Windows in unconditioned spaces, such as a garage or porch, do not qualify.
- Windows in newly constructed homes do not qualify for this incentive.

- Window installations must meet applicable building codes to qualify.
In addition to a rebate from Inland your installation may also qualify for a Federal Tax Credit. To find out if you qualify visit the Energy Star Website at www.energystar.gov. *The U-factor measures how well a product prevents heat from escaping. The lower the U-factor, the greater a window's resistance to heat flow and the better its insulating value. The U-factor is included in the energy performance rating label offered by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC). Program requirements: To qualify for this incentive you must be a current member of Inland Power & Light. Please fill out the attached form in its entirety and return to Inland with a dated copy of your invoice and documentation indicating U-factor rating for each window installed.
