Inland Power has partnered with local non-profit SustainableWorks and WSU Energy Extension to offer Inland members access to energy saving home upgrades that will immediately reduce your energy use and increase the comfort of your home. The "Save Energy Today" program will provide members with direct installation of energy saving measures such as CFL light bulbs, programmable thermostats, duct sealing, water heater / pipe insulation and air sealing, while also educating you on the most cost-effective ways to make your home more efficient and comfortable. Inland members in Spokane County have access to this program for only $49. The full value of this service is $1,500 and will only be available until June 15 or when the limited spaces are scheduled.

To sign up for the program, members should call 509-443-3471 or visit www.sustainableworks.com. We are hoping to expand this program outside of Spokane County in the future. If you live outside of Spokane County and are interested please contact Inland Power at (509) 789-1801.

Home Insulation Incentive
One of the best, and most cost effective ways, to improve the energy efficiency of your home is to seal the air leaks and upgrade your insulation.

Inland Power and Light, in partnership with the Bonneville Power Administration, is pleased to offer the following incentive to our members who use electricity as their primary heating source.

This incentive is not available for new construction, additions or secondary buildings.
This incentive is available for professionally installed and homeowner installed upgrades. Homeowner must be aware of the unique potentials for structural damage and therefore this incentive has qualification and procedure requirements that must be followed to be accepted for payment. First read the Specifications/ Agreement pages, sign the first page and then call the conservation department at (509) 789-1801 for details.
Insulation upgrades for existing residences: .07¢ to $1.12 per square foot (see chart).
