Inland Power and Light wants to help you live in an energy efficient home. Energy efficiency is your best long-term solution for managing your electric bill.
To qualify, you must be a current member of Inland Power and Light. Please completely fill out the attached form and return to Inland with required paperwork. Requests for rebates must be received within 90 days of purchase. Allow four weeks for processing. These programs are subject to change without notice.

Heat Pump Water Heater Incentive During the Holidays
Heat pump water heaters are the most efficient water heating option, reducing energy waste and hot water costs by up to 50%. By installing a heat pump water heater not only can you save a significant amount on your electric bills, but Inland Power also offers a $300 incentive to keep costs low.
In addition to Inland Power’s $300 incentive several retailers are offering additional rebates this winter season.
- Home Depot - From Nov. 28 to Dec. 25, 2013, Home Depot will offer a $459 instant rebate on Rheem EcoSense 50 gallon heat pump water heater purchases. The promotion is available at all Idaho, Montana, Washington and Oregon Home Depot locations.
- GE - From Nov. 6 - Dec. 4, 2013 - GE offers a $400 price reduction on GE GeoSpring 50 gallon heat pump water heaters available to all GE distributors and retailers in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana.
- Sears - From Dec. 5-26, 2013 - Sears will be offering 50 percent price reduction on GE GeoSpring 50 gallon and Kenmore Elite 60 and 80 gallon heat pump water heaters and are available at Sears.com, Sears call center (800) 549-7853 and at full line Sears stores throughout the Northwest.
Home Insulation Incentive
One of the best, and most cost effective ways, to improve the energy efficiency of your home is to seal the air leaks and upgrade your insulation.
Inland Power and Light, in partnership with the Bonneville Power Administration, is pleased to offer the following incentive to our members who use electricity as their primary heating source.
This incentive is not available for new construction, additions or secondary buildings.
This incentive is available for professionally installed and homeowner installed upgrades. Homeowner must be aware of the unique potentials for structural damage and therefore this incentive has qualification and procedure requirements that must be followed to be accepted for payment. First read the Specifications/ Agreement pages, sign the first page and then call the conservation department at (509) 789-1801 for details. Insulation upgrades for existing residences: .07¢ to $1.12 per square foot (see chart).
